From one dead handset to a full entrance panel
Plenty of these jobs are repairs. A handset with no audio, a release that buzzes but does not unlock, a panel button that has stopped working, water in the entrance unit — most are fixable, and we will always tell you when a repair is the sensible answer rather than a replacement.
Where a system has reached the end of its life, we replace it properly. Audio or video panels, individual handsets or screens per flat, wired systems that keep working when the internet does not, and cabling brought up to a standard that the next engineer can follow.
Access control goes on top of that: fob or keypad entry to the communal front door, bin and bike stores included, plus a documented list of which fob belongs to which flat so a lost fob can be removed without re-issuing the whole block.

Can you repair our existing door entry system?
Often, yes. Handsets, releases, buttons and power supplies are frequently repairable and much cheaper than a full replacement.
Do you work with managing agents?
Regularly. We can quote for a block, work with a residents' committee and provide written records afterwards.
Can we have video instead of audio?
Usually. Whether existing cabling can carry video depends on what is there — we check before quoting.
Can you fit fob access to the bin store?
Yes, and it is a common request. Side gates, bike stores and bin stores can all go on the same fob scheme.
Does it rely on the internet?
The systems we prefer are wired and keep working if broadband goes down. App features can be added on top if you want them.
