Wired, aligned and actually connected

Wherever there is an existing bell supply, we wire the doorbell to it so the battery stops being your problem. Where there is not, we look at the nearest sensible route or an alternative unit rather than leaving you a ladder job every couple of months.

Coverage comes next. Front doors in London houses are often the furthest point from the router, behind a solid wall, which is exactly why doorbell video buffers. We measure at the door and, if it is weak, we can extend coverage there properly during the same visit.

Then the details: mounted level and at a height that frames faces rather than chests, angled with a wedge where the path approaches from the side, existing internal chime kept working where possible, and the app set up with notifications tuned so passing traffic does not set it off all evening.

Can you wire it so I never charge the battery?

In most houses, yes. If there is an existing bell supply we use it; if not, we will tell you what the options are.

My WiFi is weak at the front door — can you fix that too?

Yes, and it is a common part of the job. An access point or repositioned unit near the hallway usually solves it.

Will my existing chime still ring?

Usually. It depends on the wiring and the unit, and we check before disturbing anything.

Can it go on a period front door?

Yes. We prefer to fix to the frame or brick reveal rather than the door itself, and we drill carefully.

Can you fit one on a flat in a block?

Sometimes — communal entrances often need the freeholder's agreement, and a door entry system may suit better.
